Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the difficulties facing mathematics teachers for the fifth grade of primary from their point of view.

The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach.

The research community consisted of mathematics teachers in the directorates of Al-Rusafa Education (first, second and third) in the province of Baghdad, which numbered (1521) teachers and teachers were taken.

A random sample from the original community with a percentage of (20%) amounting to (304) male and female teachers.

As for the research tool, the researcher prepared a (questionnaire) in its initial form, which consisted of (48) items distributed (teacher field, And the field of the mathematics curriculum, the student's field, the material capabilities, the educational institutions, administration and educational supervision, and the parents' field) by (8) paragraphs for each field.

Mathematics for the fifth grade of primary school, as the researcher mentioned a set of recommendations and suggestions.
