The current research aimed to identify social isolation among middle school students the research sample amounted to (300) male and female students, from the palm average for boys, and the medium humanity for girls, and to achieve this, the researcher adopted a scale 'al-Maine' (2002) for the social isolation variable the scale consists of (18) items in declarative terms.

and check the researcher from the discriminatory power of the paragraphs (social isolation), as well as from the sincerity of construction through correlation of the degree of the paragraph with the total degree, and the researcher verified the stability of the scale in two ways : in the test, the reliability coefficient was (0.75), and using the alpha- cranach equation, where it reached (0.76).

for the social scale, and after extracting the validity of the scale, the researcher applied the scale on the basic research sample, consisting of (300) male and female students of the first grade average.

the data were analyzed using the statistical portfolio for the social sciences spss.
