Abstract EN

This study clarified the linguistic, terminological, and legal meaning of judicial control, in addition to expounding its difference from administrative control.

It aimed to elucidate the tasks and duties of the judicial control officer as stated in the Federal Criminal Procedures Law and the Law on the Entry and Residence of Foreigners.

It also specified the categories entrusted to carry out the work of judicial control, in addition to determining public and private jurisdiction, disclosing the procedures followed by the judicial control officer in the crimes of entry and residence of foreigners, and clarifying the penalties for these crimes.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive, analytical and comparative approaches.

He conducted a comparison between the Criminal Procedures Law and the Law on Entry and Residence of Foreigners by dealing with the legal texts related to judicial control in both laws.

The study included two topics: the first topic dealt with the judicial control stage in crimes of entry and residence of foreigners and the powers of the judicial control officer, while the second topic focused on the trial phase of these crimes.

The study ended by determining the penalties for committing any of the offenses and felonies specified by the UAE legislation.
