Abstract EN

The current study seeks to verify visual thinking and its relationship to the reading comprehension skills of fifth grade female students.

In order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher followed the descriptive correlative approach through a sample of fifth-grade students in Baghdad who were randomly selected.

After being satisfied with these characteristics, the two research tools were applied to the sample, and the study reached the following results : 1.

There is an above-average level of visual thinking among the female students of the fifth grade of primary school.

2.

There is an above-average level of reading comprehension among the female students of the fifth grade of primary school.

3.

There is a statistically significant relationship between visual thinking and reading comprehension among the female students of the fifth grade of primary school.
