Abstract EN

The current research sought to prepare a program for the development of environmental responsibility for workers in the agricultural administrations in Qalyubia Governorate based on the dimensions of environmental responsibility and the activities included in this program (lectures, publications, short video, educational bag, workshop, and others).

The problem can be formulated in the following main question: What is the proposed program for developing the environmental responsibility of workers in the agricultural administrations in Qalyubia Governorate?
The tools of the current research were as follows: a questionnaire to identify environmental problems among workers in environmental protection from the point of view of experts, a questionnaire to measure the availability of environmental responsibility among workers in agricultural departments in Qalyubia governorate, and a scale of environmental responsibility among workers in agricultural departments.

The research procedures were determined in: Determining the dimensions of environmental responsibility that should be developed among the employees of the agricultural administrations, building a program to develop the environmental responsibility among the employees of the agricultural administrations, determining the effectiveness of the program in developing the dimensions of the environmental responsibility among the employees of the agricultural administrations in Qalyubia Governorate.

The current research sought to verify the validity of the following hypothesis: There is a statistically significant difference at the level of 0.05 between the mean scores of the control group and the experimental group in the post application of the environmental responsibility scale in the scale as a whole in favor of the experimental group.

In light of the procedures followed by the current research, the research found:
- It was found that there are shortcomings in the environmental responsibility of the employees in the agricultural departments, and to address this problem, a training program was prepared in developing the environmental responsibility of the employees.

The effectiveness of the training program in developing the environmental responsibility of the employees of the agricultural departments in Qalyubia Governorate.

- There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (α = 0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental and control group in the environmental responsibility scale in its five dimensions, in favor of the experimental group.

In light of the research results, the following were recommended:

The necessity of periodically training the employees of the agricultural administrations on the latest developments in the field of environment and how to confront environmental problems in scientific ways.

Raising awareness of agricultural administration employees on the articles of the law on environmental protection and how to implement it.
