The impact of content and language integrated learning (clil)‎ esp students' learning of sustainable development words and idioms

The need for the English Language is one of the most dependable and significant communication instruments in the globalized world.

The following research paper asserts the efficacy of employing Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in teaching EFL outcome skills to higher studies Iraqi students.

It is a qualitative paper examining the usefulness of developing EFL reading comprehension and writing skills using the CLIL teaching technique.

This study demonstrates the application of CLIL in classrooms regarding the acquisition and retention of EFL outcome skills (e.g., reading - writing and vocabulary skills) among higher studies students.

It is the acquisition and the understanding of a foreign language necessarily foster confidence and facilitate interaction.

Also, it has been proved that the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach covers a wide range of categories of functions related to language learning.

CLIL courses nactually blend language and content together so as to enhance the language as well as the thinking abilities of the learners.

This paper aims to address the problems and concerns of Iraqi higher studies non departmental students and their problems in learning EFL courses.
