The impact of visual literacy skills in developing efl Iraqi student teachers paragraph writing skills

Abstract EN

The present study aimed at developing EFL Iraqi student teachers Paragraph writing skills through using visual literacy skills such as Images, pictures, tables and visual clues.

The researcher adopted the quasi-experimental study employing two groups an experimental and a control group having 30 students in each group.

A paragraph writing pre-posttest was used as an Instrument of the study.

As for the treatment, six sessions, two hours to each were applied using visuals for the experimental group while the control group studied paragraph writing the in conventional Way.

The results of the research presented the effectiveness of using visuals in developing EFL Iraqi student teachers paragraph writing skills.
