This study aims to recognize the genius of the linguistic system in the Quranic text and its ability to express it accurately on the basis of the means of textual coherence, since grammatical and semantic relations represent the basic criterion by which the textuality of any text is reached.

accordingly, the following problem was raised : what are the types of grammatical and semantic relationships that abound in the text of "Surah al-Shu'ara" ? how did these relationships contribute to the coherence of the surah ?.
