Khula is one of the most important topics of the day, as this study deals with the financial right that is represented in compensation for Khula, this is by explaining the most important problems of Khula compensation in family law, the criteria for its application by the judge, and the extent to which it relies on the rules established in sharia, so we say that this study aims to review the legal balance on the legislator's handling of this subject in order to focus on the gaps that the legislator overlooked on the one and try to address them on the other hand.

accordingly, we will try to present in this article the conceptual framework of Khula, after which we will explain the financial compensation that the wife is obligated to pay to her ex-husband, and show the position of the Algerian legislator on it.
