In light of the recent international transformations starting from the Ukrainian crisis, and viewing the energy potential that Algeria possesses, Algeria’s role has become more than ever primordial in contributing to the achievement of international energy security.

the state of international polarization affects Algeria’s ability to expand its economic and security partnerships in accordance to serve its national interest.

besides, the shifts taking place in the energy market from traditional to renewable energies poses concrete pressures on Algeria pushing it to adapt to these challenges.

this study attempts to state on the most important entry points through which Algeria can realistically and potentially position itself in the energy issue.
