Abstract EN

The study aimed at recognizing the main obstacles and priorities for providing social aid to the orphans' care institutions in the Republic of Yemen.

The study adopted the analytical descriptive approach and the case study method.

The sample of the study consisted of male and female workers at those institutions selected using the random quota sampling technique.

The sample size was (90) male and female workers.

To achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (42) items distributed in two parts was designed, and its validity and reliability was verified.

The most prominent results of this study showed that the level of obstacles to providing social aid to the orphans' institutions in the Republic of Yemen has been very high, with a mean of (4.23) and a standard deviation of (.863).

While the priorities domain of social aid in orphans' care institutions has been on a very high level as well, with a mean of (4.25) and a standard deviation of (.875).

Further, the results of the study revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05 >a ) with regard to obstacles in providing social aid in orphans' care institutions based on gender variable.

Whereas there were statistically significant differences based on the qualification and governorate variables.
