Abstract EN

The current research aimed to identify (self-protective behavior among adolescents) in salah al-din governorate and to identify the significance of differences in self-protective behavior among adolescents according to gender, (males females) and the stage variable (fourth fifth).

the research sample consisted of (400) of the adolescents in middle schools, amounting to (200) males and (200) females, they were chosen from the original community of adolescents female middle school students in salah al-din governorate, and their number is (42048) male and female students.

the researcher extracted indicators of validity and reliability of the scale.

the statistical ones (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, alpha-cronbach equation, chi-square, t-test for two independent samples), and the statistical package (spss) was used to reach the required results in the research procedures.

the current research concluded that adolescent students have self-protection behavior and that males they had a higher self protection behavior than females.

the fourth-grade middle school students had higher self-protection behavior than the fifth-grade middle-school students.
