Abstract EN

The higher research aims to analyze the science book (even chemistry) for the first intermediate grade, in the Republic of Iraq, and in order to achieve the goal of the research, the following questions were formulated(What are the metacognitive thinking skills that should be available in the science book for the first intermediate grade and modern chemistry?What are the metacognitive thinking skills included in the science book for the first intermediate class (only chemistry).

The research family was represented by the science book for the first intermediate grade (the two units of chemistry) and a list of metacognitive thinking skills was prepared, consisting of (3) main skills (planning skill, monitoring and control skill, calendar car) and (15) sub-skills (defining the problem, determining the goal, Arranging, facing difficulties and errors, predicting results, finding alternatives, determining requirements, focusing, analyzing, assimilation, selection, sequencing, making judgments, begging, diagnosis) consisting of (71) indicators.

Explicit and implicit as the unit of analysis and repetition, the same and with the others, the Holste equation was used, and the holy ratio was used to calculate the conquest.

Based on the results, a number of recommendations and suggestions were presented.
