Abstract EN

The research problem lies in the following questions.

what is the nature of the correlation between academic optimism and a harmonious personality among students of the college of education? and does this relationship differ according to gender (males - females), and specialization (scientific - humanitarian)? therefore, the current research aims to identify : 1- academic optimism among students of the college of education.

2- a harmonious personality among students of the college of education.

3- the correlation between academic optimism and a harmonious personality among students of the college of education.

4- the difference in the correlation between academic optimism and a harmonious personality among students of the college of education according to a variable gender (males - females) specialization (scientific - humanitarian).

for the purpose of verifying this, it was relied on the descriptive curriculum to correlation, and academic optimism scale prepared by hoy, et, al (2006), and the building is according to the theory of academic optimism of hoy & woolfok, (2006), which includes (30) items, as well as the a harmonious personality scale prepared by al-rubaie (2022) was used, and the building is according to the theory of a harmonious personality motkov (2013-2020), which includes (30) items, and the two scales were applied to a sample of (2-0) male and female students chosen by the random cluster method, and the research results showed that : 1- students of the college of education have a level of the academic optimism, as well as a the a harmonious personality, they also have a level of positive connotation.

2- the relationship between academic optimism and a harmonious personality is significant among students of the college of education.

3- the differences in the relationship between academic optimism and a harmonious personality are not indicative of the level of students of the college of education according to gender (males and females), and specialization (scientific - humanitarian).
