Abstract EN

This research aims to identify "the effect of the magnet poles strategy on the achievement of social studies for second-stage students".

In order to verify the objective of the research، the researcher formulated the following hypothesis: There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who are studying according to the magnet pole strategy.

And the average scores of the students of the control group who study according to the usual (traditional) method in the post achievement test.

The researcher was kept to strike a balance between the two research groups in the variables (previous knowledge - intelligence - educational attainment of the parents - chronological age - previous achievement in the subject of social studies).

The researcher also formulated (118) behavioral goals that included cognitive levels (knowledge - understanding - application - analysis).

The researcher prepared the teaching plans for the two research groups as (35) plans for the experimental group and (35) plans for the control group.

The test was applied after the end of the research experiment that took the first course، as it started on Saturday (11/13/2021) and ended with testing the two research samples on Wednesday (19/1/2022).

Using the t-test for two independent samples.

The results showed as follows: There is a statistically significant difference between the students of the experimental group who studied according to the magnet pole strategy and the students of the control group who studied according to the traditional method in the post achievement test، and this difference is in favor of the experimental group.
