The noble hadith of the Prophet and the Arabic language are indispensable to each other, just as the noble hadith of the prophet is a source of protest for the sake of grammar; mastery of grammar is a condition for understanding and explaining the hadith, and deriving its rulings.

and in confirmation of that close relationship, this research paper sought to identify the linguistic and grammatical data that the commentators of Sahih Imam Muslim used to clarify their positions on the multiplicity of its narrations.
