هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة صعوبات تعلم مهارة القراءة في اللغة الإنجليزية للصفوف الثلاثة الأولى من وجهة نظر المعلمات في العاصمة عمان، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتم اختيار عينة الدراسة بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة وتكونت من (214) معلمة من معلمات الصفوف الثلاثة الأولى في المدارس الحكومية والخاصة في العاصمة عمان، وأعد الباحث استبانة مكونة من (55) فقرة، اشتملت على ستة مجالات رئيسة: (صعوبات تتعلق بمحتوى الكتاب المدرسي، صعوبات تتعلق بالمعلم، صعوبات تتعلق بالمتعلم، صعوبات تتعلق باللغة الإنجليزية وخصائصها، صعوبات تتعلق بالأسرة والمجتمع، صعوبات تتعلق بأساليب التقويم)، وأظهرت النتائج أن المعلمات يرون أن طلبة الصفوف الثلاثة الأولى يواجهون وبدرجة عالية صعوبات في تعلم مهارة القراءة في اللغة الإنجليزية، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في صعوبات تعلم مهارة القراءة في اللغة الإنجليزية للصفوف الثلاثة الأولى تعزى إلى متغيرات؛ السلطة المشرفة، والمؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة.
وأوصت الدراسة بتزويد معلمات ومشرفين اللغة الإنجليزية والقائمين على وضع المناهج للغة الإنجليزية والمهتمين بقائمة الصعوبات التي يعاني منها طلبة الصفوف الثلاثة الأولى في القراءة لتتم مراعاتها أثناء عملية التدريس.
English Abstract
The study aimed to reveal the degree at difficulties in learning English language reading skill for the first three grades from teacher’s perspective in the capital Amman.
to meet the study’s goals, the researcher used descriptive survey-based approach.
the sample consisted of (214) female teachers who were chosen randomly.
to collect data, a questionnaire of 55 items was developed.
divided into 6 domains: (difficulties related to the content of the textbook, difficulties related to the teacher, difficulties related to the learner, difficulties related to English language and its characteristics, difficulties related to the family and society, difficulties related to evaluation methods).
the results showed that the teachers see that the students of the first three grades face and with a high degree, difficulties in learning the reading skill in English language, and the study found that there were no statistically significant differences in the difficulties of learning the reading skill in English language for the first three grades due to the supervisory authority, qualification and experience variables.
the study recommended providing English language teachers and supervisors, those in charge of developing English language curricula, and those interested with a list of the difficulties that the first three grades students face in reading to be taken into consideration during the teaching process.
