Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على معالجة الصحافة اليومية الأردنية (الرأي) و (الغد) لموضوع الهوية الوطنية الأردنية، خلال الفترة الواقعة بين 2021/6/10 لغاية 2021/12/31 و هي فترة تشكيل و عمل "اللجنة الملكية لتحديث المنظومة السياسية" و صدور مخرجاتها و توصياتها، حيث شهد المجال العام الأردني خلال هذه المرحلة نقاشا موسعا حول الهوية الوطنية الأردنية.

اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج المسحي بشقيه الوصفي والتحليلي باستخدام أسلوب تحليل المضمون، و تم تحديد مجتمع الدراسة بالمواد الإخبارية و مواد الرأي في الفترة المبحوثة، المنشورة في النسخ الرقمية لصحيفتي (الرأي) و (الغد) اليوميتين الأردنيتين و الناطقتين بالعربية.

و تضمنت (402) عددا ؛ (200) موضوع إخباري و مواد رأي تم حصرها في مجتمع الدراسة حول موضوع الهوية الوطنية الأردنية و كيف تناولته هذه الصحف.

و توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج كان من أهمها : اهتمت الصحافة اليومية (الرأي، الغد) بموضوع الهوية الوطنية الأردنية من خلال المقالات ثم المواد الإخبارية التي قدمتها.

و تناولت الصحف اليومية الأردنية الهوية الوطنية الأردنية من خلال ستة مواضيع و قضايا هي : الهوية الوطنية من منظور تاريخي و ديني وثقافي و اجتماعي و احتلت المرتبة الأعلى في حجم التغطية، تلتها الهوية الوطنية و الإصلاح السياسي، ثم الهوية الوطنية من منظور المواطنة و الانتماء، و من ثم طروحات اللجنة الملكية لتحديث المنظومة السياسية لمفهوم الهوية الوطنية، الهوية الوطنية و الوطن البديل، و أخيرا الهوية الوطنية و الهويات الفرعية.

و بالنسبة لعناصر الإبراز التي استخدمتها صحف الدراسة فقد تنوعت، حيث استخدمت العنوان الرئيسي، ثم العنوان الفرعي، و أخيرا المانشيت.

كما استخدمت الصحف صورة خبرية، ثم صورة من الأرشيف، وأخيرا رسوم ومخططات كوسائل الإبراز الموضوع و توجيه الاهتمام نحوه.

و احتلت مؤسسات المجتمع المدني الريال الحكومة الأردنية، ثم مجلس الأعيان، فيما حل في المرتبة الأخيرة أعضاء اللجنة الملكية و الأحزاب.

English Abstract

This study aimed to identify the approach in coverage of the Jordanian National identity in the Jordanian newspapers subject of research (Al Rai( and )Al-Ghad) in the second half of the year 2021, showing the nature of the topics covered by these dailies and the frameworks in which they were presented according to their fields.

The study depended on the discourse analysis/ survey approach, both descriptive and analytical, using content analysis of Jordanian newspapers, which are published daily and represent different trends; governmental and private.

Also, the two newspapers were chosen for the regularity of their daily publishing, whereby (Al Rai) is the main official newspaper in Jordan and represents the mainstream state-aligned narrative, while (Al-Ghad) is the main private and independent Jordanian newspaper.

A comprehensive inventory method was used for all content published in these newspapers on the Jordanian national identity, how these newspapers covered the topic, and the approach of coverage for the period from 10- 6-2021 to 31-12-2021, which covers the formation of the “Royal Committee to Modernize the Political System” and its outcomes and recommendations and the most recent period of time of conducting the study.

The study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which was that daily press (Al-Rai and Al-Ghad) focused on the issue of the Jordanian national identity mainly through articles, followed by news items, in terms of quantity.

Jordanian daily newspapers dealt with the Jordanian national identity through six topics and issues: national identity from a historical, religious, cultural and social perspective ranked highest in the volume of coverage, followed by national identity and political reform, then national identity from the perspective of citizenship and belonging, followed by the proposals of the Royal Committee to Modernize the Political System’s concept of national identity, national identity and the alternative homeland, and finally national identity and sub-identities.

The elements used in newspapers under study to highlight these topics varied, including main heading, sub-heading, and the headline.

Newspapers mostly used news images, followed by archive images, and finally drawings and diagrams as means to highlight the topic and direct attention to it.

Civil society institutions took the lead on launching the dialogue on the Jordanian national identity, followed by the Jordanian government, then the Senate, while members of the royal committee and parties ranked last.
