Abstract EN

The aim of this research is to learn about the effectiveness of a training program using language games to develop reading comprehension in student with learning disabilities at the elementary level.

the age of the sample ranges from (10-11) years.

the sample was selected for on average of (20) pupils with learning difficulties, a mental aptitude test from 9 to 11 years old by (Farouk Abdel Fattah, 1989), quick neurological screening test issued by (Margaret Moti et al., Arabization of Abdul Wahab Kamel, 1999), reading comprehension test by the researcher, the training program by the researcher was applied, and after doing the statistic, the results come back, there are statistically significant differences between the averages of trail group score grades on both pre and post measures of reading comprehension skills (total score and all dimensions) at level (0.01) for dimension, there are statistically significant differences between the mean of the experimental and control group score grades in the telemetry of reading comprehension skills (total score and all dimensional) at level (0.01) for the trial group, there are no statistically significant differences between the mean of the dimensional and sequential score grades of the trail group students in reading comprehension skills.
