هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن أثر استراتيجية التعلم المعكوس في التحصيل والاحتفاظ المعرفي في تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية لدى طالبات الصف التاسع الأساسي.
لتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج التجريبي ذو التصميم شبه التجريبي، كما تم استخدام الاختبار التحصيلي كأداة للدراسة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (96) طالبة تم توزيعهن إلى مجموعتين: التجريبية وبلغ عدد طالباتها (50) طالبة درست باستخدام استراتيجية التعلم المعكوس، والضابطة وبلغ عدد طالباتها (46) طالبة درست بالطريقة الاعتيادية.
وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في تحصيل الطالبات بين المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة وكانت الفروق لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية في اختبار الاحتفاظ المعرفي لدى أفراد المجموعة التجريبية، وأوصت الدراسة بأهمية تطبيق استراتيجية التعلم المعكوس في تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية لما لها أثر إيجابي على زيادة تحصيل الطالبات والاحتفاظ المعرفي لديهن.
English Abstract
The current study aimed to reveal the effect of the flipped learning strategy on the achievement and retention of knowledge in teaching English for the ninth grade female students.
To achieve the goal of the study, the study used the experimental method with a semi-experimental design, and achievement test was used as a tool for the study.
The sample of the study consisted of (96) students who were divided into two groups, the experimental group consisted of (50) students who studied by using the flipped learning strategy, and the control group consisted of (46) students who studied by using the traditional method.
The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences in the achievement of female students between the two groups experimental and the control group, the differences were in favor of the experimental group (which was taught using the flipped learning strategy), and the study also found that there is not a statistically significant difference in the retention of knowledge test for the experimental group.
The study recommended the importance of applying the flipped learning strategy in teaching English for its positive impact on increasing the educational achievement of students and increasing their retention of knowledge.
