A variety of beliefs and doctrines have passed through the lands of the Muslims, starting with the beliefs and doctrines of the companions, may God be pleased with them all, and their followers, which lasted about a century, to be followed by other doctrines that were able to establish themselves under the banner of countries that emerged in the 8th century Hijri, such as the Safri doctrine of the Madrari state and the Ibadi doctrine of the Rustami state, in addition to the doctrine of isolation or what is known as the Wasili doctrine, which was adopted by some tribes as mentioned in books of geography and history.

The various Edrist ideologies, in their orientation between the Zaidi and the Isolation or Sunni, were able to establish themselves, while the Isma’ili Shiites established their own state that lasted from 296 Hijri until the stabilization of the Maghreb on the basis of the ‘Akdi Ash’ari doctrine and developed in two directions: The direction of the Eastern Ash’ari, represented by Abu al-Hasan al-Ash’ari 324 Hijri - 935 AD, then the Bāqillānī 403 Hijri - 1012 AD, the Jawini 478 Hijri - 1085 AD, and finally the Ghazali 505 Hijri - 1111 AD.

The same thing happened in the Western Ash’ari, where it was not separated from change and renewal despite the change of personalities, Qairawan was the link between the East and the West in terms of knowledge, represented by Ibrahim ibn Abdullah al-Zaidi al-Qalansi (359 Hijri - 940 AD), Ibn Abi Zayd Al-Qirwani (386 Hijri - 996 AD), and finally, Al-Sanusi (895 Hijri - 1489 CE), who was known for his knowledge of the Ash’ari doctrine and his renewal, intellectual, and spiritual development of the Sufi approach.

In this article, the researcher highlights the impact that Imam Mohammed bin Yusuf Al-Sanusi left through his writings in highlighting the Ash’ari thought on the issue of divine judgement in the context of his philosophical proof of the unity of Allah Almighty.
