Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the teaching methods used in the philosophy lesson with the aim of developing values and thinking in the philosophical dialogue between the student and the teacher, by monitoring the dialogues and discussions in the philosophy lesson.

The study was applied to five philosophy teachers with experience in teaching the subject in the State of Kuwait.

Values are discussed and analyzed based on the qualitative analysis.

The results of the study concluded that the teachers made the learning content more clear and provided an environment of communication between the philosophical contexts of their students.

The study also recommended the following: The need to use modern teaching strategies aimed at developing critical thinking.
