Abstract EN

The current study aimed to study the effectiveness of a counseling program based on psychodrama to enhance mental health among a sample of female talented students at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah.

The study sample consisted (20) female talented students on stage, and Ahmed Al-Khaleq (2016) mental health scale was applied, with psychodrama-based counseling program prepared by the researcher, and the results reveled that there were a statistically significant differences between the per and post measurement in favor of post measurement, and no statistically significant differences between the post and follow-up measurement, which indicates the effectiveness of the psychodrama at enhancing the mental health.

Based on the result, the researcher recommends providing more support for counseling programs based on psychodrama, and providing more support for talented females on stage to realize their talents for better mental health, facilitating tasks related to theater, and facilitating its conditions for the female's section to enable females to achieve the vision of (2030) in the female's side as well, because of the importance of female's component in changing society, and to deliver the benefits of theater to all segments of society -in a manner that suits each category- for a better mental health
