This study aims to examine the effect of the dimensions of job characteristics named skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy, and feedback on job pride for Mansoura banks employees.
Data collection instrument utilized in the study was the questionnaire, which was directed to 400 employees of banks in Mansoura.
Only 327 questionnaires were statistically valid and free of missing data.
Path analysis was employed to test the research hypotheses through Warp PLS 7 programs.
The study results indicated that there were direct positive significant effects of job characteristics (skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy, and feedback) on job pride.
