Abstract EN

The main objective of this study is to highlight some of the stylistic and artistic characteristics of the ancient Arab poetic heritage in general, and the traveller Mohamed Abdari's poem in particular.

The latter summarizes all the details of his journey which he called the Moroccan journey.

On this basis, the Abdariya poem is by all accounts a literary art model that have multiple artistic characteristics.

There is also a combination of linguistic and rhetorical language, which is based on the improvement of words and meanings and makes them highly imaginative.

Then there is the military method of detection, description, diagnosis, dialogue, and so on.

Thus, the literati can be able to adapt the language and harness the rhythm through which he created an effective impact that would leave its mark on the recipient of the poetic text.
