Algerian society has witnessed in the past known values that encourage childbearing and the preference of males over females, for economic, social and religious reasons, because childbearing represents a family's strength and pride, because the male is the bearer of the family name and the custodian of its properties and a bond for his parents in old age, as for the female, she will marry and carry another name and fill another house, in addition to religion that encourages marriage and childbearing.
