The study presents a new vision about the mechanisms of social control and the ability to rely on it by Algerian women when exercising freedom of expression through the spaces of new media, among them the space of Facebook groups, especially with the spread of cybercrime among members of the virtual community, thus revealing the reality of these crimes and their various forms and highlighting on the most important challenges facing the presence of the legal officer and his effectiveness to control electronic crimes that exceed the limits of freedom of expression, as well as the study aspires to direct attention and research to the mechanisms of self-regulation in order to achieve an ethical endeavor and organize the new media, Algerian women are considered a member of the virtual community who move and seep into the real society.
