The study of the traditional rural areas of the Biban region (Bordj Bou Arreridj) is of great importance through which the archaeological components of these villages are shown through the general plans as well as through the effective role they played in maintaining the social structure of the population, which was organized and managed by a simple and effective administrative council known as the village council, in addition to a set of standards and controls; among the most important of these villages in the ottoman era in Algeria are: Rabia, Qasour, Bouchiba, Qalea Bzmora, through which we will know the structural and schematic components of the village world in this geographical area.

these architectural units also contribute to the creation of a kind of harmonious and controlled distribution in the public sphere formed by villages between what is private property and what is collective public utility, such as the mosque, the village council, simple and complex housing units, as well as streets and alleys.
