This article is a sociological view of mental illnesses, seeking to understand society's take on these disorders.

even though, we've come a long way in explaining mental illnesses scientifically and objectively according to the mythological capacities of science, most of people's ideas about mental health still contains a lot of mythical explanations.

in this research we try clarify people's views regarding mental illness through their resources, in a comparison between scientific and public knowledge of this topic.

there is no doubt that will try to rely on number of systematic mechanisms to approach this topic through the descriptive approach related to providing an introductory reding of what is both mental illness and colloquial and scientific knowledge, as we will employ the analytical approach in connection with the issue of mental illness in light of the colloquial knowledge, colloquial knowledge and cognitive convergence points around it.
