The Arabic language has witnessed a terrible decline, dating back to the beginning of the era of decadence, which is a natural state.

especially if we know the decline of its speakers in all fields and various walks of life, after they were a center of knowledge (I mean the golden age of the Arab-Islamic state, for language is a living being that grows, develops, and perishes.

with the development and delay of its owners, the Arabic language has become that patient - in literary expression-whose body is devoured by duplicity linguist, and its linguistic pluralism in its homeland.

in light of the foregoing, this paper aspires to try to control some concepts and terms such as bilingualism, multilingualism, and linguistic security first, and then diagnose the reality of the Arabic language today in the midst of this competition, by examining the historical causes and factors that contributed to the decline in the use of the Arabic language.
