Abstract EN

The objective of this study is to shed light on the problem of the creation of a zone free of nuclear weapons in the middle east, and we have come to the end of this study to note the existence of several obstacles, in particular: the difficulty in defining the concept of the middle east, Israel's refusal to create this zone before the conclusion of a global agreement with the neighboring states, including the Iranian file, and after having presented a certain number of international initiatives in the matter and the reasons for its failure we suggest on the one hand the need to strengthen the bases of trust between the parties, and on the other hand to put pressure on Israel either by the security council or by its neighboring countries for the destruction of these weapons, and finally, we posed the possibility of withdrawing from the treaty on weapons of mass destruction to deal with Israeli nuclear power.
