This paper aims to address the role of Algerian diplomacy in settling the Libyan crisis, given that Algeria was and still is among the countries that supported the diplomatic solution based on the political settlement of the Libyan crisis, which has escalated since the fall of Muammar Gaddafi's regime as a result of its ramifications and the multiplicity of its local and regional parties.

Algeria, through its foreign policy based on the principle of non-interference in internal affairs, has always been keen to give priority to the political solution and the language of dialogue by encouraging political initiatives and receiving Libyan leaders to consult on the future of the Libyan political process.
