Algerian defense diplomacy has been the product of revolutionary accumulations since independence, based on the principles of deterring foreign aggression in all its forms by using military and economic policies and means aimed at protecting national sovereignty, securing borders from penetration by terrorist threats, organized crime and illegal migration, Algeria also aims to play the role of regional leader and protector of the region through effective diplomatic positions seeking to resolve international disputes and problems between Arab states among themselves or between African states, for the purpose of contributing effectively to building international peace and security and creating stability in Africa and the world.
