The study aims to reveal both the relationship and the role of training quality in improving job performance in the departments inspectorate of customs in the state of Tlemcen.

where each of the quality of training questionnaire prepared by the researcher and the job performance questionnaire of Fadel Faiza were applied to a sample of 70 customs employees.

the researcher used the descriptive method.

the results showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between training quality and job performance.

while it also showed that both the quality of training and functionality are at a high level at customs.

and that this is due to the role played by the quality of training in improving job performance at customs.
