The phenomenon of drug addiction takes different dimensions that have risks to the infrastructure of society between the abuser and the addicted substances and the institutions entrusted with them the task of caring for addicts and trying to help them, within programs and strategies to combat the phenomenon and help addicts recover and integrate, and through this intervention we discuss the concept of social mediation and institutions that It is trying to play a role and accompany addicts in treatment more than punitive institutions, as well as we will address the laws and mechanisms enacted by the state in its programs to help addicts, and all this we will present through what was reached in a field study conducted on a sample of addicts in the city of Setif in 2021.
