This study aims to highlight the importance of the transition to electronic business in local administrations in the modern information technology environment, by addressing the dimensions and effects of the use of information technology on electronic business in local administrations, this study concluded the importance of developing strategies and foundations through which to gradually shift from traditional paper-based transactions to modern digital transactions in local administrations, which results in improving the services provided by the administration to the citizen at the lowest costs.
