It is well established that dramaturgy revolves around the mechanism of the transition of the dramatic text from the literary image to the artistic image, thus achieving harmony, compatibility, and the appropriate rhythm in the theatrical work.

this is accomplished by converting literary texts from one literary genre to another, such as dramatising the novel, or updating and categorising them in the appropriate context while ensuring consistency between the author's idea and the director's vision, so we chose Mourad al-Senoussi dramatisation of Wassini novel "Ountha al-Sarab" by turning it into a theatrical text "Imraa Min Waraq" as a model.
