Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the current status of women’s economic empowerment in Algeria in the context of achieving sustainable development goals, particularly the fifth goal related to gender a quality and women and girl’s empowerment.

the results showed a weakness in the level of economic empowerment for Algerian women, despite the efforts made, and the achieving sustainable development goals requires new measures and mechanisms, as what has been adopted since the adoption of the sustainable development plan in 2016 has not been able to achieve even one of the 17 sustainable development goals.
