الغرض من هذه الورقة هو عرض حالة مرضية فريدة لذكر يعاني من التخلف العقلي و غير ذهاني راجع المستشفى بعد أن أدخل ملقط جراحي في قضيبه عن طريق الأحليل.
لقد قدم هذا الشخص دافع غريب لهذا الفعل و هو تجنب الإتصال الجنسي مع زوجته كعقاب لها.
تشتمل هذه الورقة على دراسة أشباب إيذاء النفس عند الأشخاص الذين يعانون من التخلف العقلي بالإضافة إلى التشخيص التفريقي لذلك.
كما تشتمل هذه الورقة على بحث موسع لحالات الإيذاء الذاتي و المتعمد للأعضاء الجنسية و التي وردت في المصادر العالمية المختلفة.
Abstract EN
Objectives: To document a rare and unique case report of a young mentally subnormal non-psychotic male patient, who presented with self-insertion of a forceps inside his penis.
His reported strange motive was to avoid sexual intercourse with his wife as a form of punishment.
The etiology and differential diagnosis are reviewed in relation to literature
