Abstract EN

The current research aims to reveal the ability of social competence to predict the behavioral problems of kindergarten children with attention difficulties.

correlative, due to its suitability for the objectives of the research, and the research tools consisted of 1)-a list of developmental learning difficulties (attention difficulties) 2)-a measure of behavioral problems for a kindergarten child with attention difficulties.

3)-a measure of social competence for a kindergarten child with attention difficulties.

a statistically significant negative correlation at the level (0.01) between the scores of kindergarten children with attention difficulties, the research sample, on the social competency scale, and their scores on the behavioral problems scale, where the value of the correlation coefficient was (-0.747).

the independent variables (cooperation, social behavior, independence, discipline) make a statistically significant contribution in predicting behavioral problems among kindergarten children with attention difficulties in the research sample, where the values of the standard regression coefficients for the independent variables (cooperation, social behavior, independence, discipline) were equal (-0.50, -0.20, -0.17, -0.18) respectively.
