Abstract EN

The current research aims at the possibility of merging the aesthetic and plastic influences of the woman's face in Africa continent and the African motifs to keep pace with the requirements of the modern era in highlighting the beauty of contemporary design by creating new designs for textile pendants that show new artistic influences using some textile structures on canvases.

where the researcher designed and implemented (10) textile pendants inspired by African faces and motifs to highlight the African identity and the implementation of these designs and textile pendants on canvas using acrylic colors and some simple textile compositions and presented these products (ten products) with the questionnaire form to the specialized arbitrators individually (15 arbitrators) to find out the opinions on the executing product.

the researcher used applied statistics, the descriptive analytical method, and the quasi-experimental method.

the results concluded that the implemented textile pendants achieved a degree of acceptance in the evaluation averages of the specialists’ arbitrators in all aspects of the questionnaire, and that it was possible to take advantage of the beauty of the multiple techniques of hand weaving, the African faces, and motifs to enrich the aesthetic values of the textile pendants to verify the validity of the research hypotheses and access to the results.
