Work, wages and dependency are among the basic elements that make up the employment contract, as we mentioned earlier.

considering that the wage is the most important element in terms of the employer's obligation imposed on him, which must be fulfilled to the worker once he has completed the work required of him; because the basis of that relationship and the motive for it is with the worker because of the importance it represents to him, because without wages, the worker would not have been able to provide for himself and his family the minimum necessities of life.

if we look at the wage in terms of the concept of the cost of production, we find that it affects the prices of commodities in the market.

its impact from an economic point of view is not limited to the worker only, but its impact extends to the employer as well, as the increase in wages is in addition to being one of the elements of the work contract and an important pillar.

it is one of its pillars and is of particular importance, as it affects the estimation of the cost-of-living subsidy, compensation for the notice period, end-of-service gratuity, compensation for work injuries, disability and old-age insurance, and health insurance.
