Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the role of empowering leadership in building the second line leaders in the ministry of social affairs in Kuwait country.

this is done by collecting the primary data for the research from a sample of (278) workers in the ministry of social affairs under study.

the research reached a set of results, the most important of which is the presence of statistically significant differences between the perceptions of workers in the ministry of social affairs in Kuwait country towards the dimensions of empowering leadership, as well as building the second line leaders with different demographic characteristics for them (gender, level of education, number of years of work).

there is also a significant positive relationship between the dimensions of empowering leadership (independent work behavior, supporting positive thinking, and promoting cooperative work) and the second line leaders in the ministry under study.
