The increasing interest of the studied newspaper websites in opinion pieces about the image of the united states indicates that writing opinion articles is a refined craft with its own style and authors.

it has become a window through which opinions, ideas, and attitudes are expressed, either in favor of or against the image of the united states.

this is in addition to the goals of the media institution and the direction of the studied newspaper websites toward events.

hence, this study was conducted to understand the image portrayed of the united states.

to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the content analysis method to examine the contents of opinion articles in al-Sabah, al-Zaman, and Tariq al-Sha'ab, aiming to uncover the main themes each website emphasizes when presenting the image of the United States.

the study's sample consisted of al-Sabah, al-Zaman, and Tariq al-Sha'ab newspaper websites.

the researcher relied on the content analysis tool for the analysis process by designing an analysis form based on his exploratory study, and it underwent validity and reliability procedures before being applied to analyze the opinion article contents that are the subject of the study.
