Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the frameworks of press coverage on the Egyptian websites of the Russian-Ukrainian war: a comparative study between government and private websites, using the frameworks analysis tool, and applying to a sample consisting of al-Ahram gate 104, al-Jumhuriya online 61, and al-Youm al-Sabea 150 Masrawy websites 53 articles, the study concluded that the sample sites of the study focused on “exports from conflict countries,” with a frequency of 395, then followed by “Europe and war damages” with a frequency of 342, then the third came “Egyptian exports” with a frequency of 300, then the rest of the categories followed with frequencies the study also concluded, and the study recommends that the conflict in terms of extent between the two parties is considered a fundamental conflict, meaning that the dispute between them is old and not born of the moment, but it emerged when the interests and opinions conflicted between the parties and the active forces, and the follower of the current situation notes that the dispute between the two parties will continue for a period –relatively long– and it will not end in a short period, which is confirmed by the following result, which showed that probabilistic conflict takes precedence over the types of conflict in terms of foresight, which predicts an upcoming clash between the active forces.
