Before teaching philosophy, it is necessary to specify that philosophy is not linked to a bounded significance, nor a particular approach, nor to the thoughts of ancient or modern philosophers.

rather, it is the philosophizing and the creation of concepts.

in order for us to get out of the issue of teaching philosophy from the obsession of fear over creed, we should base our approaches on philosophizing not philosophy.

also we should differentiate between philosophy in terms of statements and perceptions and philosophy as an independent and self-sustaining science that is not subject to constraints of time, place and society or civilization but stems from our distinction and our current situation and time.

the close link between philosophy and religion assures the necessity of benefiting from philosophy in the field of belief through the creation of a contemporary islamic philosophical perspective that answers contemporary doctrinal problems in the field of knowledge, existence and values based on the criterion of questioning, criticism and rational construction that governed by the mechanisms of our Islamic heritage with the necessity to benefit from global philosophical concepts in accordance with our Islamic identity and to re-create them in the Arab philosophical field.
