Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the level of life meaning and self control among the early-married divorced women and its relationship with psychological security.

In order to achieve the goals of the study, the participants in the study ivolve 72 early-married divorced women whose ages ranged between 16 and 18 years old during the period of 2019-2020.

Three scales were developed : the scale of life meaning, self-control scale, and psychological security scale; their validity and reliability were verified.

The study results showed that the level of life meaning, self-control, and psychological security among the divorced women was medium.

In addition, the results revealed that there is a positive relationship between the three variables and most of the dimensions.

The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in life meaning, self control, and psychological security attributed to the educational level.

In the light of the results, the study highlighted the necessity of engaging the divorced women in counseling programs regardless of their academic level.
