Transport in previous ages depended on horses, mules and camels, and due to the importance of the holy city of Karbala and its great impact on the presence of the shrines of the two imams Hussein and his brother abbas (peace be upon them), a railway was formed in conjunction with the formation of the Iraqi pile on 23/august 1921, but as a result of political events the Karbala railway was not completed and economically, but after that successive governments sought to solve this crisis, albeit slowly.

the importance of this research comes in that it sheds light on the most prominent transport services in the city of Karbala and the most important problems they face, as well as the ways in which the government has endeavored to complete them with the lack of financial allocations.
