Abstract EN

Social awareness is the individual's ability to get to know other people from different backgrounds and cultures and empathize with them by identifying and evaluating similar issues.

It has an impact on several aspects of an individual's personality, most notably the quality of decision-making.

Arbitrary without taking into account its results and at all levels, whether at the level of administrative or personal decision-making.

Social awareness varies from one individual to another, from one society to another, and with the individual himself, according to the different concepts that dominate the social path and the nature of human understanding.

When faced with a kind of questionable choice, the individual makes his decisions based on two factors : the expected benefit of the results and their own possibilities.

The current research aimed at : 1- Measuring social awareness and the quality of decision-making among university employees.

2- Knowing the differences in social awareness and quality of decision-making according to gender (male-female) 3- Identifying the correlation between social support and the quality of decision-making, and to achieve the objectives of the current research The researcher has adopted two tools of social support and it consists of (27) items, and the quality of decision-making consists of (36) items, which have honesty and stability.

1- Employees are characterized by the presence of social awareness and quality in decision-making.

2- There are statistically significant differences for males and females for the variable of social awareness, and there are no statistically significant differences for males and females for the variable of decision-making quality.

3- There is a correlation between social awareness and the quality of decision making.

The researcher developed a set of recommendations and suggestions.
