Abstract EN

Introduction: the talk in this research about the precautionary and punitive measures of the Holy Qur'an about one of the most deniable crimes, and the most dangerous, which is the crime of murder, where it leads to orphans of children, widowhood of women, and the spread of chaos and disorder, and the research showed that the right to life is one of the most sacred rights, and assault on it by killing without the right is one of the most severe crimes.

objective: this study came to achieve the following: 1- a statement of the reasons that motivate the fall into the crime of murder.

2- highlighting the care of the Qur'aan in preserving the human soul.

3- highlighting the preventive methods of killing through the Holy Qur'an.

the nature of the research required that it be in the introduction and preamble of three sections and the conclusion and indexes of the first section made it entitled: murder definition types and causes.

it included three demands: the first requirement: the definition of murder in language and terminology, the second requirement: types of murder and the third requirement: the reasons driving the killing: the second section made it entitled: prevention warning of murder: and included two requirements: the first requirement: the definition of warning in language and terminology: the second requirement: warning Islam against self-assault by killing and torture.

the third section made it entitled: punitive or curative prevention: "from falling into murder: it included four demands: the first requirement: the definition of punishment in language and terminology: the second requirement: retribution from the killer the third requirement: Islam's keenness to satisfy the parents of the murdered (the victim) and the role of this in the prevention of murder.

the conclusion came in the most important findings of this research of the results, some proposals, the most important sources and references, and the index of topics.

methodology: in this research, the inductive analytical approach was followed results: the intention of preventive warning measures: is to prevent crime to occur in the first place, while punitive or curative measures are to prevent crime from occurring again after the first occurrence, and that therapeutic measures involve the meaning of prevention, and share the goal of seeking to prevent crime from occurring in the first place, whether for the first or second time.

recommendations: recommending the activation and application of deterrent laws that punish the offender and issue a stern warning to those who are tempted to commit such crimes.

it is recommended to be very careful not to kill an innocent soul, because it is the greatest sin after Kufr and Shirk, and because of the worldly and eschatological punishment that ensue.
